
Grain Free Energy Bites
Do you have a snack in the afternoon? When I went Paleo, I stopped snacking in the afternoon. And I would often find myself very HANGRY by dinner time. I now embrace afternoon snack time. I try to have protein and I also like to keep it grain free. These protein balls, check all the boxes for my perfect afternoon snack.

Ingredients
- 1 cup smooth almond butter
 - ¼ cup coconut oil
 - ½ cup hemp hearts
 - ¼ cup chia seeds
 - ¼ cup mini sugar free mini chocolate chips
 - ¼ cup chocolate protein powder (make sure to choose a vegan protein source)
 - ¼ cup unsweetened coconut
 - 4 medjool dates
 
Step 1: Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until combined. Place in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes so they are easier to roll.
Roll into 12 bites and store in the fridge for up to a week or the freezer for 2 months. Enjoy!
